Meet Dallas adams

Dallas Adams is a passionate leader, dedicated community advocate, and candidate for Alderwoman of the 3rd Ward.

For the past eight years, she has volunteered with local organizations focused on revitalizing and improving the St. Louis region. Dallas currently serves on the boards of Seed St. Louis and Thomas Dunn Learning Center, and is a former Board Member and Design Committee Chair for Dutchtown Main Streets. As a Lead Coordinator for VAL Community Garden, she has secured nearly $500,000 in investments to support the Dutchtown community. Dallas is also a proud 2022 graduate of the FOCUS St. Louis Emerging Leaders program.

Dallas’s career in nonprofit work, communications, and civic engagement has equipped her with strong skills in collaboration, creative problem-solving, and effective communication. She is committed to bringing these skills to the Board of Aldermen, where she will continue advocating for transparency, accountability, and community-driven decision making.

As a single mother to her 5-year-old daughter who attends an elementary school in the St. Louis Public School system, Dallas understands the importance of strong communities and access to resources. In 2022, she became a homeowner in Dutchtown with the help of the St. Joseph Housing Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting first-time homebuyers. She now serves on the External Committee for SJHI, furthering her commitment to helping others plant roots and build a future in Dutchtown.

Dallas is driven by a vision for a thriving, collaborative community—one where every resident has the resources and opportunities to succeed. Her leadership is rooted in listening to the needs of her neighbors, and she believes in making decisions that reflect the collective voice of the community. Ready to be a tireless advocate for the people of the 3rd Ward, Dallas is poised to serve as a visionary champion for our values at City Hall.

Dallas holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Middle Tennessee State University, and her professional experience includes leading successful campaigns and strategies in the nonprofit sector, most recently serving as the Communications Manager at Great Rivers Greenway.
